For construction with Silka blocks, Silka FIX S210 is a thin-bed mortar specifically designed for Silka calcium-silicate blocks and elements. Thanks to its excellent strength (M10) and fine structure, it is best suited for combination with Silka blocks that have high compressive strength. The mortar is prepared by adding dry powder from the bag to water and mixing with an electric mixer. For the preparation of 1 kg of ready-made mortar, 0.26 liters of water are used, or for a 25 kg bag – 6.5 liters of water. It is applied to the blocks with special trowels (from the Silka tool set) to a maximum thickness of 3 mm. Only when applied at this thickness of < 3 mm can Silka FIX S210 ensure that the wall meets the required characteristics.
